Eure Eva Berg

Miso had followed labradors pedigrees and breeding for all his life. That´s why we found breeding an interesting and challenging area, and our first litter was born in 2000. Our breeding bases in three bithclines; Twigg´s MG, Billowhiz Flying Gillie and Dual´s Hope Cassiopeia, which are followed by English bloodlines.
Our most successful Eagle Owl´s are: Twigg´s MG´s daughter´s (Eagle Owl´s Beelsebub) son, Eagle Owl´s Epimetheus which won Finnish Retriever Championship in 2007. Also he has gained Finnish and Swedish Field Trial Champion (cold game).
Billowhiz Flying Gillie´s son Eagle Owl´s Fobos, despite his very young age, has gained huge success in A-test and International field trials. Fobos is second Finnish dog which has achieved title Finnish FT Champion (warm game)! Also he has got Finnish Field Trial Champion (cold game) –title. 2008 Fobos won Nordic Championship and in Individual Challenge Cup he was third. Quite an achievement!
Eagle Owl´s Field Trial Champions (cold game) are: EO Beelsebub (also Swedish FT CH), EO Demeter, EO Elektra and EO Feeniks.

In Finland Labrador Derby and Champioship are the most valuable titles among Labrador breeders. Labrador Derby winners: 2001 EO Apollon, 2003 EO Demeter, 2006 EO Fobos and 2007 EO Galateia. In Championships Eagle Owl´s dogs hasn´t won yet… Maybe next year… Eagle Owl´s kennel has also been awarded to Finnish Labrador Club´s Gundog breeder of the year during 2005-2008. Our most interest are Field Trials and hunting. We both are judges in Working Test and National Field Trial judges. Pauliina is also the delegate for Finland in the FCI Commission for Retrievers.

My name is Sara Gadd, I suppose you could say that I am a dog lover...all of them. Some I would not choose to own but I find them all fascinating, particularly the working breeds.
I started competing with dogs in 1995 and registered Birdsgreen Gundogs in 1996. I have made up a Field Trial Champion (Mansengreen Diesel of Birdsgreen) and also bred one ( a Golden Retreiver/ Birdsgreen Sweet Reward of Castlemans)
I am a Kennel Club "B" panel judge, regularly judging field trials and working tests in the UK and Abroad. At the moment I am competing with 3 of my own dogs, Field Trial Champion Mansengreen Diesel of Birdsgreen, Sebow Laurel of Brindlebay and Brindlebay Gertie of Birdsgreen.
I am presently living in Suffolk and Mike Tallamy and I run a joint Kennel. My children have grown up, so a lot of my time is devoted to training and competing with my lovely dogs.

Wie man im Land seiner Herkunft sagt: it’s one hell of a ride…

I have been involved with training & competing gundogs since 1986 and formed the name Brindlebay Gundogs in 1988. Since then I have won over fifty field trials and made up 5 Field Trial Champions.
The first being a black bitch FTCh Hamford Dixie of Brindlebay then followed by her daughter a yellow bitch FTCh Brindlebay Maize, next came FTCh Bringwood Bobby of Brindlebay who of course won the much coveted I.G.L championship. Following Bobby's success I bred Brindlebay Jude who gained his FTCh status after winning six trials. My latest champion a black bitch FTCh Mansengreen Bizzy of Brindlebay she won 9 trials. I am currently competing with her son Brindlebay Butler who is now an Open stake winner. At this present time I am chairman of the Suffolk gundog club.
I am an A panel Kennel Club judge for retrievers judging in the UK and abroad, having now judged in 7 different countries including the prestigious Coup d'Europe, the Belgium retriever championship and the International Working Test 3 times. In 2004 I judged the CLA International Working Test at Blenhiem Palace. In 2008 I was a member of the winning team in the UK Euro Challenge Working Test held at Blenheim Palace running my black dog Brindlebay Butler. Sara Gadd and I run a joint kennel in Suffolk.

He is also a member of the committee of the Gundog Club "De Gouden Jachthoorn" and of the Field Trial Commission of the Belgian Labrador Retriever Club. He loves to go out shooting, picking up and compete his own dogs in good organised FT’s on natural game which are judged and run according the FT rules and guidelines. “I want to thank the German Retriever Club for inviting me to judge and I am looking forward to the event.”
